Dorset wedding fayres
A wedding day is a day full of many different parts… The wedding industry is a vast orb of wonderful people supplying important chunks of that special day. Such as flower arrangers, photographers, dress makers, wedding transport, marquee erectors, dj’s, caterers and so on. So as a newly engaged bride this whole overview of the wedding day can be a daunting and scary thought. But don’t worry it can be a lot easier than it first seems.
So where do you start and where the hell do you find these supplier’s? Many people ask us how we get wedding bookings and how do your clients find out who you are.
Well there are several tried and tested ways. You can trawl the internet and google search recommended companies, or word and mouth might be a good plan. You may have a friend who is newly married and assuming that the wedding went well you could ask them to recommend the companies they used.
You can pay a company to sort the day for you, however although this is a great idea you have to be mindful that it may eat into your budget.
These are indeed a great ideas and all work well but another great way of finding wedding supplier’s is to visit wedding fairs (or Fayres as they are more commonly known).
A wedding fayre is a place where everything wedding wise comes together under one roof giving you the great opportunity to meet wedding suppliers face to face.
Wedding fayres are also great places to get ideas for your big day and to test the waters to see what works for you.
For us as a wedding supplier it’s great to meet clients during these the fayres as it puts the bride into a wedding surrounding making it less alien to them.
Wedding fayres can be found on line, in local listings, local newspapers/magazines and of course word and mouth.
So if you are newly engaged hit the wedding fayres and get a feel for what you might need for your wedding.
We will see you there
